APSE
Building Materials
APSE is an Italian construction materials manufacturer based in Verdello. The company was founded in 1964, when Riccardo Vavassori set up its first factory for construction mixtures in Ciserano, northern Italy. Its output includes cement for flooring, stamped floors, and resins for industrial, civil and decorative floors. Laboratory research supports the development of epoxy and polyurethane resins used as bases for most industrial floors, along with decorative plasters made from microcement and other mineral components. In 2007 the firm partnered with Italcementi SpA on the TX ACTIVE project for photocatalytic cement products with low environmental impact, whose effectiveness was tested and certified by independent research centers including CNR, ARPA and Centro Ricerche Ispra.
