PROSOL S.P.A. is an Italian manufacturer located in Madone, active since 1974, producing yeast-based nutritional ingredients. Its output includes yeast ribonucleic acids (RNAs) made without organic solvents in both food and feed grades, supplying free nucleotides for clinical nutrition and supplements, plus yeast free 5' nucleotides used in infant formula, dietary supplements, foods and animal nutrition. The company operates as one of three major global producers of yeast RNA and is among the few such producers in Europe. Branded lines cover live Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast for animal nutrition, nucleotide and nucleic acid products for aquafeed, nucleotide concentrates for young animals, and flavor enhancers.
