DP World, headquartered in Dubai, is one of the world's largest port operators and supply-chain solutions providers, handling roughly 10% of global container trade through more than 100 marine and inland terminals across over 50 countries. The company began as Dubai Ports Authority in the 1970s and grew through landmark acquisitions, including P&O in 2006, to become the flagship logistics arm of the Dubai government.
Beyond its marine terminals, DP World has built an integrated logistics ecosystem: economic zones and free zones around its ports, inland container depots, rail and trucking services, and a digital trade platform that connects shippers, carriers and customs authorities. Its flagship Jebel Ali port in Dubai is the largest man-made deep-water harbour in the Middle East and a central node in Asia-Europe trade.
For B2B customers moving goods through the Middle East, Africa or South Asia, DP World offers end-to-end services from berth to inland destination, including warehousing, customs facilitation and cargo financing. Its scale and government backing make it a strategic partner for manufacturers, retailers and commodity traders seeking reliable port and logistics capacity.
