Aspöck Portugal S.A., located in Cucujães, Portugal, forms part of the Aspöck Group, an Austrian manufacturer of pre-fabricated lighting systems for towed vehicles. The group was founded in 1977 as a maker of lighting for agricultural vehicles, introduced its first automobile trailer rear lamps in 1996, and acquired its long-standing Portuguese supplier Fabrilcar in 2007, renaming it Aspöck Portugal. Group employment stands at roughly 1,400, with headquarters in Peuerbach and production sites in Portugal, Poland and Brazil, plus globally distributed sales subsidiaries. Products include LED lighting and individual solutions for truck and trailer, automotive, motorcycle, caravan, agricultural and special vehicle applications, covering development through series production.
