EXPORPLÁS S.A. is a Portuguese manufacturer established in 1981 and based in Cortegaça, engaged in the production and export of synthetic ropes, high-performance wires and fibers. The company operates two plants covering a combined 40,000 m². Its principal site lies in Portugal, roughly 35 km from Porto's port and airport, while a second unit in Nacala, Mozambique, handles all ropes and wires made from natural fibers. Output serves agriculture, fishing, packaging, construction and the artificial grass sector. EXPORPLÁS has held ISO 9001:2008 certification since 2005. The firm employs between 100 and 199 people.
