Sandy, based in Auchy-lez-Orchies, France, has produced plush toys since 1972, when founders Mr. and Mrs. Wambeke designed, cut, sewed and stuffed toys in a Marcq-en-Baroeul workshop. Since 1983 the company has created its own plush collections and imported toys. Prototypes are developed and tested to current safety standards. Brands include Sandy, Bozami, Amifou and Crapouille for plush, plus Sandy and Joubiz permanent toy lines and seasonal gift ranges for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter and Halloween. As an importer, Sandy serves wholesalers, merchants and associations across Europe and can handle specific requests. A showroom operates at 447 rue Victor Fichelle, open weekdays from 8:30 to 17:00.
