RICO Elastomere Projecting GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer established in 1994 and located in Thalheim near Wels, Upper Austria. The company builds injection molding tools and automation equipment and produces elastomer components. Its injection molding operations cover single, double and multi-component processes, working with liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and solid high-temperature-vulcanizing silicone (HTV). Tooling and molded parts serve the sanitary and household goods sector, the automotive industry, medical technology and electronics. RICO operates as part of RICO GROUP GmbH, described as a full-service provider of custom elastomer and plastic projects with four sites worldwide. The workforce numbers between 200 and 499 employees.
