LA VANNERIE D'AUJOURD'HUI

Based in Fayl-Billot, France, La Vannerie d'Aujourd'hui is a family-run producer and retailer of wickerwork. The firm manufactures and sells baskets, including willow and wicker types, firewood baskets, market bags, rattan chairs, and containers and packaging designed to display goods. It also supplies raw materials and tools for wickerwork enthusiasts in bulk or semi-bulk, such as cane by the metre, willow by the kilo, cane kits, rattan splints and rattan blades, alongside children's wickerwork items. Five generations of the family have maintained the craft, yielding a range of French-made wickerwork. Buyers include furniture and decoration shops, florists, garden centres, confectioners, bakers, hardware stores, wine merchants and gift-box suppliers. A workshop and showroom serve customers six days a week.
