Kalkan Agriculture Ltd. is a family-owned Turkish company founded by Ender Kalkan in 2007 in Akşehir, a principal growing area for sweet and sour cherries and strawberries. It began by exporting fresh fruit and added a freezing facility in 2011, moving into frozen fruit exports. Two factories operate in the same region: one spanning 5,000 square meters and a second, opened in 2017, with 9,000 square meters of covered area. Following investment in a fourth IQF tunnel and storage, freezing capacity reaches 16 tons per hour and storage capacity 22,500 tons. Proximity to the raw material area supports final product quality.
