Künneth & Knöchel

Künneth & Knöchel, founded in 1887 in Magdeburg and now based in Neuss, Germany, manufactures vulcanizing presses for conveyor belts with fabric-steel cord inserts, accommodating belt widths up to 3200 mm. Each press is engineered for its specific application. Heating plates and pressure crossbars are produced from high-strength special aluminum. Electric heating of the plates uses heating elements enclosed in a steel tube casing that protects against moisture ingress. Press crossbars can be fitted with mechanical or hydraulic pressure application depending on belt width, and presses are also available with a pressure cushion system. The presses have been made since 1930 for worldwide use.
