ECD Electronic Components GmbH Dresden is an electronics manufacturing services provider and hardware maker located in Dresden, Germany. The company was founded in 1997 out of a Siemens Nixdorf business and has since built a position in the global market. Its service range covers printed circuit board assembly, cable assembly, electronics development, LED solutions and telematics. Work spans contract development, prototype and pre-series builds, and industrial-scale series production, giving customers a single-source offering across the product lifecycle. Roughly 70 people are employed in production, development, administration and quality management, working from a 1,200 m² manufacturing area, alongside six trainees in system and device electronics.
