DEMA Metallspritzwerk iCoat AG is a Swiss surface treatment service provider founded in 1973 and located in Schinznach Dorf. Its processes include plasma coating, HVOF coating, arc spraying with wire, flame spraying, external and internal cylindrical grinding, shot peening and PTFE sealing. Components treated with plasma or HVOF gain corrosion protection, reduced wear and longer service life, thermal and electrical insulation, improved sliding behavior through low-friction and anti-stick layers, and running and sealing surfaces in rotating parts. The coatings serve as a full replacement for hard chrome (Cr VI) and can be used to repair expensive components. Corrosion protection options address oxygen corrosion, hydrogen corrosion, hot gas corrosion up to 1600 °C and fretting corrosion.
