Ing. Erich Geiss GmbH & Co KG Elektrotechnische Fabrik is a German manufacturer of electrotechnical components based in Sulzbach, established in 1945. The company began as a trading business supplying materials for armature winding in electric motor repair, later expanding into production. Its product range includes motor terminal boards, connecting bridges, terminal clamps, cable lugs, slip ring bodies, carbon brushes, brush holder pins, clamp supports, holding supports, and bolt connection clamps. Manufacturing capabilities encompass toolmaking, stamping, and automatic turning of terminal bolts. Since 1958, the firm has been a member of the Technical Association of Manufacturers and Processors of Standardized Molding Compounds (now AVK e.V.), with ongoing production monitoring by the State Material Testing Institute of the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 1963, it received the world's first approval for explosion-proof and dust-proof motor terminal boards made from thermosetting molding compounds.
