Remoplast Kunststoffverarbeitung, based in Simmersfeld, Germany, is a processor of thermoplastics specializing in vacuum forming. The company produces housings and technical functional components for mechanical engineering and the automotive sector, plus molded parts and coverings serving rehabilitation and laboratory technology. Its range extends to special cases, visually demanding molded items for furniture, counter coverings and sales systems for shop fitting, along with three-dimensional deep-drawn, milled or bent acrylic glass products up to 2450 x 1450 mm. Materials processed include ABS, PC, PS, PMMA, PP, PE, PET and PVC in thicknesses from 1.0 to 12.0 mm, with specialty grades such as electrically conductive or heat-, cold- and acid-resistant plastics. Deep-drawn parts reach 2460 x 1460 x 600 mm. Small series and rapid prototypes are supported through positive thermoforming with pre-stretching and negative thermoforming with draw aids.
