Boss Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of packaging equipment, established in 1959 and headquartered in Bad Homburg. Its portfolio covers vacuum machines, shrinking devices and tray sealers. Among the vacuum sealers offered are the MAX 46-S and MAX 42-S models, designed to keep metallic parts dry and free of oxygen. The company also builds vacuum equipment for specialized duties, including packaging of asparagus, nuts and ammunition. Standard vacuum bags supplied are 90 μ thick and intended for single-chamber vacuum sealers, while sous vide bags tolerate temperatures from -30 to +121°C and suit cooking and roasting applications.
