Kendrion Kuhnke Automation, based in Malente, Germany, was founded in 1928 and forms part of the Industrial Division of Kendrion N.V., operating as the Business Unit Industrial Actuators and Controls (IAC). The unit specializes in magnet, fluid, and control technology, producing electromagnets, actuators, valves, valve blocks, pressure regulators, electromagnetically actuated locking units, inductive heating systems, I/O modules, PLCs, IPCs, and panel PCs. More than a century of experience supports its electromagnet and actuator development. Control products follow internationally recognized industrial standards for integration. Main applications are medical technology, including dialysis machines, anesthesia and ventilation devices, dental units, and therapy equipment, plus automation and robotics such as AGVs, material flow systems, and cobots, mechanical engineering for beverage, food, printing, paper, and textile processing, and fire protection, access control, and oxygen emergency systems.
