ERE Kunststoff RAM-Extrusion GmbH & Co. KG is a second-generation family-run manufacturer located in Kelberg, Germany, established in 1983 by owner and managing director Herbert Mayer. The firm operates in plastics processing and mechanical engineering. Its original activity centred on semi-finished UHMW-PE items produced by RAM extrusion, alongside conversion of uncontaminated plastic production scrap into extrusion and injection molding grades. RAM extrusion was later discontinued. Driven by in-house tooling requirements and screw and cylinder wear, the company broadened into plastic compounding and the manufacture of machine components. Current output includes custom compounds, granulates, regranulates and grinding stock, with production waste converted into recompounds. Contract grinding and homogenisation are offered for small and large batches, and materials can be tested in the company's own laboratory for various technical values. Mechanical engineering products comprise screws, cylinders, groove bushings and extrusion tooling for extruders and injection molding machines handling thermoplastics, thermosets and elastomers.
