Carmo A/S is a Danish, independently owned development and production partner for the medical-device industry and demanding technical applications, based in Espergærde. Injection moulding has been carried out since 1952, and the company has served medical-device makers for more than 60 years. It holds ISO 13485 certification and operates validated ISO Class 8 cleanrooms for medical assembly. Capabilities include single- and multi-shot moulding (1K, 2K, 3K) on more than 30 machines, automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing. Carmo Print Moulding, a hybrid of 3D printing and injection moulding, produces functional prototypes in days. A 2018 expansion added 1,000 m² of production space and 200 m² of cleanroom.
