Leo Demetz Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH is an Austrian plastics processor based in Mattighofen, Upper Austria, founded in 1976. The company produces small injection-moulded plastic parts, with more than a billion pieces leaving its plant each year and reaching specialty stores worldwide through its customers. The business has been family-run for over three decades; Leo Demetz Jr. took over in 2006 and incorporated the operation as Leo Demetz Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH. Since 2005 the company has used green electricity from 100% renewable sources and received the Umweltdiplom from Energie AG Oberösterreich. A 3,400 m² adjacent plot was leased in 2007 for 50 years to secure future space.
