APL Gruppe is an Austrian industrial manufacturer founded in 1966 and headquartered in Hopfgarten. It produces bundle heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and special devices and systems for customized solutions. Its products serve the chemical and petrochemical industry, refinery plants, and heat and energy technology, as well as the oil and gas, environmental, and special application sectors. The company, owned by the Pletzer family and managed by Markus Widner, employs around 120 people across sites in Hopfgarten, Austria, and Dormagen, Germany. APL Apparatebau is described as one of Europe's leading providers in heat exchange.
