Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)

Abu Dhabi

ADNOC, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, is a diversified energy group wholly owned by the government of Abu Dhabi, established in 1971. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the company employs more than 50,000 people and is one of the world's largest oil and gas producers, with proven reserves among the highest in the industry and production capacity of around 5 million barrels per day. ADNOC operates across the entire hydrocarbon value chain — upstream exploration and production, LNG, refining, and petrochemicals through its subsidiary Borouge, a joint venture with Austria's Borealis that is a global leader in polyethylene and polypropylene. The company has launched one of the industry's most aggressive decarbonization programs, including world-scale carbon capture, green hydrogen, and a major solar portfolio. For industrial suppliers, ADNOC is a strategic procurement partner through its ICV (In-Country Value) program, which channels billions of dollars annually into local manufacturing of valves, pipes, drilling equipment, and process instrumentation — a gateway for companies seeking to establish manufacturing in the UAE.
