OQ Group is Oman's integrated global energy company, formed in 2019 from the merger of Oman Oil Company and Orpic, and wholly owned by the Omani government. The group operates across the full energy value chain, from upstream exploration and production to downstream refining, petrochemicals, marketing and international trading. OQ's operations include oil and gas production in Oman's Block 60 and other concessions, the 230,000 barrels-per-day Sohar refinery, the Duqm refinery joint venture with Kuwait, and major petrochemical complexes producing polyethylene, polypropylene and aromatics at Sohar and Salalah. The company also markets lubricants under the OQ brand and trades crude and products internationally. For B2B buyers, OQ supplies crude oil, refined products, petrochemicals, lubricants and fertilizers, with logistics through Oman's ports of Sohar, Duqm and Muscat. Its strategic position on the Arabian Sea trade routes, integrated assets and government ownership make it a key energy supplier for the region and beyond.
