Zemo GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1965 and based in Hörstel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, develops and produces materials for insulation, sealing, and soft mounting. The company began with foam rubber materials, added cellular rubber production in the early 1970s, and by the mid-1980s expanded into processing cellular polyethylene sheets. Cellular rubber and foam rubber sheet goods remain central to its output, and it also handles and processes cellular polyurethane. All production steps, from raw mixture creation to finished sheet goods, are carried out and monitored in-house at the Hörstel site. The medium-sized family business maintains flat hierarchies, quick decision-making, and close customer contact. An internally updated quality assurance system follows DIN EN standards.
