Yeastup AG is a Swiss FoodTech company founded in 2020 and based in Brugg. It has developed a patented process that converts yeast by-products from beer production into functional ingredients for the food and supplement sectors. The portfolio includes Yeastin PRIME, a yeast protein (60%) for egg replacement, mayonnaise and plant-based meat and cheese alternatives; Yeastin PRIME Plus, a yeast-mung blend (~60%) for baked goods, creams and dressings; Yeastin NUTRA Plus, a soluble blend (84%) for sports nutrition, high-protein bars and ready-to-mix shakes; and UpFiber BETA-GLUCAN, a high-purity fiber for supplements, functional food, beverages and nutricosmetics.
