Westlake Plastics Europe, located in Tourcoing, France, was founded in 1996 and manufactures high-performance thermoplastic semi-finished products by extrusion or compression molding. It converts thermoplastic resins into rods, sheets and films. Medical-grade items comply with ISO 10993 and/or USP Class VI and use FDA-approved base resins, serving orthopedics, traumatology, dental, cardiac surgery, radiotherapy and guiding instruments. Industrial-grade products support defense, aerospace, food processing and biopharmaceuticals. The company introduced colored medical-grade polypropylene, known as Propylux HS, and provides machining for orthopedic polymers and contract device manufacturing. Materials include PC, PP, PPSU, UHMWPE, ABS, COC, HDPE, PEEK films, PEI, PEKK, PMP, POM, PPS, PSU and PVDF. It holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certification.
