W & F Werkzeugtechnik GmbH is a medium-sized, owner-managed German manufacturer of precision tools based in Großbettlingen, founded in 1991. The company has expanded its clamping tools for milling technology and offers most tools in up to five lengths from stock. Between 2003 and 2006 it developed the WFB modular tool system, a precise tool change system suitable for short turning, long turning, multi-spindle machines, turn-milling centers, and machining centers. The portfolio includes around 1,000 tool holders for driven and static applications and over 500 WFB adapter variants. The company acts as a system partner to machine tool manufacturers such as Index Traub, Mori Seiki, and Gildemeister (Gital).
