UNITED PROCESS CONTROLS GMBH, based in Heiningen, Germany, was founded in 2002 and is part of an international group specialising in the measurement, control and regulation of heat treatment and combustion processes. The group operates nine sales and production sites in seven countries and serves equipment manufacturers and end users in the thermal processing industry. Its brands include Furnace Control (FCC), Marathon Monitors (MMI), PROCESS-ELECTRONIC (PE) and Waukee Engineering (Waukee). The company designs and manufactures solutions for regulating and automating thermal and thermo-chemical processes such as annealing, bright annealing, carburizing, carbonitriding, low-pressure carburizing, induction hardening and tempering, nitriding, nitrocarburizing and vacuum hardening, for single units or large-scale production.
