SGB GmbH

SGB GmbH is a medium-sized German manufacturer of leak detection systems, founded in 1962 and located in Siegen. Its products monitor double-walled containers, pipelines and containment areas holding water-polluting liquids, and are used in tank farms, refineries, chemical plants, filling stations, heating oil storage, data centres, emergency power systems and cryogenic installations. The range includes leak detectors operating on overpressure or vacuum in accordance with DIN EN 13160 Class I, plus models for Ex applications. Activities span development, sales, installation and maintenance. More than 500,000 SGB leak detection systems are in operation, and the company serves national and international customers.
