Rusa GmbH

Rusa GmbH is a small Austrian manufacturer based in Vienna, founded in 1925, producing and repairing transformers and resistors at its own facility. Transformer output spans 2 VA to 250 kVA, covering small printed-circuit types through three-phase distribution transformers in oil-filled corrugated tanks. Transformer-based devices include chokes, thawing transformers, branding and Styrofoam cutting units, spar transformers for American devices, pull magnets rated 0.5 to 30 kp, bell coils, and inrush and starting current limiters. Resistor production, taken over with the Austrowid brand in May 2003, covers flat, frame and tube types from 0.05 Ohm to 50 kOhm. The company also trades in components it does not make itself.
