PRETEC Schneidtechnologien GmbH is a Dresden, Germany-based contract manufacturer founded in 1995, providing development and services in material separation and processing. The company produces individual parts through to complete assemblies to customer specifications, using specialized laser and high-pressure water jet cutting machines for complex contours. Further processing runs on modern CNC bending machines and machining centers, with welding of construction steel, stainless steel and aluminum via MIG/MAG and TIG processes. A painting and drying facility provides finishing. PRETEC supports customers from design through material selection and does not sell its own products. It employs 50 to 99 people.
