Peters + Bey GmbH, headquartered in Reinbek, Germany, is a family-run company founded in 1881 that employs 20 people. It produces ship lighting, ship equipment and occupational safety products, with notable in-house manufacturing depth and flexibility. The business originated as a ship plumbing operation in the Hamburg harbor, supplying vessels with sheet metal goods and galley equipment, before expanding into navigation lights as maritime safety rules tightened. It became the first supplier worldwide of internationally approved LED navigation lights for commercial shipping. Its lights serve fishing boats, container ships and land-based port installations.
