Nedstar is an ethanol supplier founded in 2018 and headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The company provides ethyl alcohol in food-, cosmetics-, industry-, pharmaceutical- and electronics-grade qualities, serving applications that include solvent, flavour enhancer, disinfectant and preservative uses. Customers can select raw materials such as sugar cane, wheat and other grains, along with various denaturants for denatured alcohol. An international team of more than 20 commercial and logistics specialists handles worldwide requirements. Much of the ethanol is produced from a residual stream of the sugar industry, and suppliers are selected against fairness and sustainability criteria. Nedstar offsets more CO2 than its impact and participates in CSR initiatives including Tree Nation, IMO 2020 and The Green Intelligence.
