Electroless nickel plating and anodizing form the core of the surface treatment work carried out by MICRON SRL in Soncino, Cremona. Aluminum, titanium and magnesium substrates are processed through anodizing and PEO lines, with treatments applied to automotive, pneumatics, medical, packaging, textile, motorsport, bike, marine and aerospace parts. The firm operates as a production supplier within the Micron Coatings Group, which traces its origins to 1973 and today employs 120 people across sites in Soncino and Remanzacco. Quality systems include ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and NSF-51 approval for food contact applications. A surface characterization laboratory supports tribological, corrosion and failure analysis.
