Max Straube Industrierohrleitungsbau GmbH

Max Straube Industrierohrleitungsbau GmbH is a construction and plant engineering firm based in Chemnitz, Germany, founded in 2015 as part of the Kremsmüller group. The company builds industrial steam and condensate networks, industrial plants, power plants, heating systems, drinking water pipelines, district heating pipelines, refrigeration systems and tank facilities, alongside technical plant construction. Its origins trace to 1946, when Otto Fiedler and Max Straube established the business; by 1959 the GDR held a 20% share, rising to 40% and full state ownership by 1972. Max Straube reprivatized the company in 1990 and transferred it to Dr.-Ing. Peter Straube. A new company building opened in 2001, and the firm later joined the Imtech group before becoming part of Kremsmüller in 2015.
