LBT Laser-Beschriftungs-Technik GmbH & Co. KG

LBT Laser-Beschriftungs-Technik GmbH & Co. KG is a Munich-based marking technology firm established in 1988. The company performs contactless laser marking on components where conventional methods are unsuitable, and also manufactures its own items including labels, front panels and data matrix plates intended for SMD assembly on circuit boards. Its service range covers marking of customer-supplied parts such as lens rings, camera housings and medical devices made from aluminium, chrome-plated brass or stainless steel. Equipment has evolved from early lamp-pumped Nd-YAG systems through CO2 and diode lasers to an ultrashort pulse laser, which supports Black Marking of metal surfaces for a deep black finish with minimal heat input. LBT belongs to the Demmel Group, which employs roughly 1,200 people across sites in Scheidegg, Weiler im Allgäu, Munich, Switzerland, China, Singapore and the USA, supporting decorative parts, decorative surfaces, operating systems, electronics and mobile power supply.
