KMK - Getriebebau Inh. Carsten Krabbe

KMK - Getriebebau Inh. Carsten Krabbe, founded in 1983 and located in Kiel, Germany, constructs and manufactures linear technology for automatic coiling and winding of wire, cables, fine wire, textile and glass fibers. The company's development focus is mechanical gears, notably the KMK-Linear-Wendegetriebe (LW) used as wire laying systems in winding technology. KMK gears are employed worldwide. More recent work centers on automated winding of spools in various shapes, resulting in the Autowickler AW1, which uses special laser sensors to regulate the winding process. Applications include automating labor-intensive winding operations and handling high-quality winding materials. CAD-supported individual design and engineering services are offered.
