Kaup GmbH & Co KG

KAUP GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned manufacturer of forklift attachments headquartered in Aschaffenburg, Germany. The company traces its roots to a forge opened in 1894 that later handled repairs for inland shipping and crane systems; in the early 1960s, under Otmar Kaup, it turned to producing forklift attachments. Today the product range covers forklift and crane attachments, stationary systems, container spreaders, and attachments for automated transport systems, including electronically driven units. KAUP describes itself as the world's largest independent maker of such attachments. Certified to DIN EN ISO 9001, it is led by fourth-generation owner Holger Kaup and runs twelve branches plus 19 independent representatives. Four production sites — Aschaffenburg, Xiamen in China, Nashik in India, and Brisbane in Australia — turn out roughly 40,000 attachments per year, with the Asia-Pacific region served from the overseas plants.
