HWG Horst Weidner GmbH

HWG Horst Weidner GmbH is a German family business founded in 1982 by Horst Weidner in Leonberg. It began as a trading house and later established its own production facility to meet demand for special parts. In 1997 the company moved to a newly constructed building in Renningen, housing development, administration, production and assembly under one roof; the site was expanded six years later. The company supplies rolling bearings, special bearings and complete solution systems to customers worldwide. During development, lifetime calculations for customer-specific rolling bearings can be carried out. Corrosion-resistant stainless steels and ceramic rolling elements are used for demanding customers in the aerospace, food, pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors. Following the founder's retirement in 2012, his son Frank Weidner and the employees continue the business. The workforce numbers 50 to 99.
