HOPPESCHLIFF GmbH + Co. KG

HOPPESCHLIFF GmbH + Co. KG is a family-run cutting tool business located in Hannover, Germany, established in 1891 and now directed by its fourth generation. Its principal output consists of machine knives for industrial and trade users, notably circular knives and long knives, complemented by flat knives and cutting tools. The firm performs knife coating with anti-stick and hard finishes, cleaning of circular and long knives to remove product residue and corrosion, sharpening, and maintenance of cutting tools. Contract grinding is offered as a separate service. Roughly 30 tons of tool steel are converted into machine knives each year across 800 square meters of operating space, using precision tool grinding machines and a trained workforce of 10 to 19 employees. Collection and delivery are arranged through service drivers, parcel carriers or bulky goods freight; worn knives are disposed of at no cost and exchanged from stock.
