Herbert Hänchen GmbH is a family-owned hydraulic cylinder manufacturer based in Ostfildern, Germany, founded in 1925 and now in its third generation. The company began with engine repair, developing expertise in honing surfaces for precise, durable cylinders and crankshafts, and has concentrated on hydraulic cylinders as its core competency since 1952. With more than 200 employees, it develops, tests, and produces hydraulic cylinders in its own research and production facilities in Germany. Offerings range from individual cylinders and clamping units to complete machines, covering standard and special applications, supported by personal consulting and the interactive HäKo product configurator from planning through commissioning.
