GRAFINO GRAFISCHER BETRIEB GMBH & CO. KG

Grafino Grafischer Betrieb GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized printing firm located in Nordhorn, Germany, whose lineage reaches back to 1883, when the Graphic Arts Institute L&E Krussig opened in Burgstädt, Saxony. Printed packaging has formed the core of its output since Herman Krussig redirected production toward that field. Today the company, led by Marcus Krussig, produces assorted packaging types using multicolor offset presses. Plate imaging relies on a modern CTP system whose processless development removes the need for chemical post-treatment. Inline varnishes applied during printing are solvent-free and largely food-safe. Die-cutting and gluing operations run on computer-controlled machinery, and waste is minimized, with residues collected for reuse in a rotational process or environmentally compatible disposal.
