GOSPODARSTWO OGRODNICZO-SZKÓŁKARSKIE MARIUSZ SZCZERBA

Gospodarstwo Ogrodniczo-Szkółkarskie Mariusz Szczerba is a production operation in Zalesie Górne, Poland, offering American blueberry seedlings since 1981. Located in the Chojnów Landscape Park, the 8.5-hectare farm has two plant production divisions: a nursery for blueberry and berry plant seedlings, and an American blueberry plantation. Besides blueberries, it grows honeyberries and thornless blackberries. The company is a co-founder and long-standing member of the American Blueberry Growers Association. American blueberry bushes reach 1.3-2.0 m, bear fruit from the second year, live up to 30 years, yield 4-8 kg per bush, bloom in early May for about three weeks, and tolerate frost to -25°C.
