engstKabel GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 2016 in Lippstadt, Germany, by managing partner Dr.-Ing. Wilhelm Engst, centres its business on the ALUKAFLEX® cable concept. The aluminum conductors are highly flexible, fine-stranded Class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295 or IEC 60228, insulated with rubber or PUR materials and combined with connection technology for aluminum. These cables weigh up to 60% less than conventional rubber hose cables with copper conductors while offering at least the same current-carrying capacity for a given cross-section, owing to temperature- and weather-resistant insulation and sheath materials. They suit temporary and mobile power supply on construction sites and at events, as well as machine and plant engineering.
