CHRISTEN-WAAGEN AG

Christen Waagen AG is a Swiss distribution and service company established in 1959 by Erwin Christen, operating from Badenerstrasse 634 in Zurich-Altstetten. It began as general representative for SUPREMA, an Italian scale manufacturer based in Santo Stefano, and originally sold through specialized dealers who resold to end customers. The portfolio has grown to include RHEWA table, floor and built-in scales, wall quarter scales, and special scales in numerous designs, alongside mechanical SUPREMA models with 1-gram divisions. A broad line of meat processing machinery was added later. Since electronics entered the scale industry in the early 1990s, the range has covered industrial, retail and precision scales plus meat processing machines.
