Chemec GmbH

Chemec GmbH is a Bielefeld-based company founded in 2000, initially as an engineering office for chemical measurement technology, and has manufactured gas analysis devices for biogas and sewage gas plants since 2001. Products are sold domestically and internationally. The company has long experience with gas sensors for biogas analysis, particularly thermal conductivity sensors and electrochemical gas sensors. Its thermal conductivity sensor, combined with an oxygen sensor, determines methane and carbon dioxide concentrations. The oxygen sensor is unaffected by carbon dioxide, and the hydrogen sulfide sensor shows no cross-sensitivity to hydrogen.
