CAGOGAS GmbH

CAGOGAS GmbH is a liquefied gas supplier based in Dortmund, Germany, founded in 1987, that distributes propane, butane and technical gases nationwide. Its 20,000 m² premises house administration, a propane filling plant and a steel cylinder regeneration facility. The business traces its origins to 1963, when Stellfeld & Ernst GmbH began as a filling station with an attached automotive workshop; a 30-ton propane filling plant later reached capacity limits, prompting the creation of CAGO Großhandelsgesellschaft in 1987 to handle B2B trade. A modern propane filling plant and cylinder regeneration plant were built in Dortmund in 2000 alongside new administration, storage and exhibition space.
