BURRE HYDRAULIK GMBH

Burre Hydraulik GmbH is a German hydraulic equipment manufacturer based in Bad Oeynhausen. Founded in 1964 by Dipl.-Ing. Karl-Heinz Burre, the company began operations in 1965 and moved to its current headquarters site in 1972, where a 540 m² production hall was built. Early developments included control valves for hydraulic excavators, explosion-proof solenoid valves and diaphragm valves. The firm supplied explosion-proof solenoid valves for Deutsche Bahn diesel locomotive refuelling systems. It later focused on hydraulic controls and devices, contributing to textile machine automation and developing automatic hatch cover controls for ocean-going vessels. Production space now exceeds 5,000 m².
