Bostik is a manufacturer and distributor of adhesives and sealants for industrial, commercial and domestic applications. Founded in 1889 and now headquartered in Colombes, France, the company was formerly known as the Boston Blacking Company and was acquired in 2015 by Arkema, a French specialty materials group. Its product categories include DIY and trade adhesives, construction adhesives, industrial adhesives, fire sealants and waterproofer, along with other adhesive solutions. Listed products include urethane waterproofing, sealants, ceramic adhesives, glow sticks, non-shrinking mortar, joint sealants and methacrylate-based products. These adhesives are used in aerospace, construction, general transportation, medical, walls and flooring, and packaging applications.
