Borner Mechanik AG is a Swiss production and service company established in 1985 in Etziken, employing between 20 and 49 people. It manufactures precision components for the apparatus and machinery sector, the metal industry, and customers at home and abroad. Through its partner company, borner-technologie AG, it produces Bornerwellen guide shafts used in machine and fixture construction, handling devices, gearboxes, motors, conveyor systems, construction machinery, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems. The shaft range covers solid and hollow versions with diameters from 4 mm to 100 mm and lengths reaching 7 m, supplied centerless ground and surface hardened, with chrome-plated or stainless steel options. Shafts ship in manufacturing lengths or cut to size from stock, and additional machining operations are offered on request.
