Behringer GmbH

Behringer GmbH, founded in 1919 by August Behringer in Kirchardt, Germany, began as a mechanical workshop and produced its first band saw after World War II. A foundry was added in 1952, and the first Behringer band saw machine followed in 1977; the circular saw specialist EISELE was acquired in 2000. The family-owned company, now in its third generation, describes itself as a complete provider in saw technology. Its product range covers band and circular saw machines, hacksaws and systems for steel construction, alongside customized material handling solutions. A second business pillar is the company's own foundry, serving both internal machine production and external customers.
